Registration Information
Registration for the 2022 CIEC Conferences is now open.

Booking process
Step 1
Complete the booking form and send by email to CIEC - The minimum number of delegates needed to make a course viable is 14. CIEC will acknowledge receipt of your form by email and issue a booking number.
Step 2
Arrange for payment.
A definite place will only be confirmed once full payment is received into the CIEC account.
Bank transfer: ensure that the transfer states your name or your school name. Without this information the payment cannot be traced and delays all further processing and confirmation of place.
Cheque: if you wish to pay by cheque please contact CIEC and we will provide an address for posting a cheque. If you know in advance that you are using a courier service and the cheque will need to be signed for in the UK, please email
for an address for the cheque to be sent to.
Step 3
As soon as CIEC has received your payment we will send you:
Booking confirmation receipt
Joining letter
Course description
If you require a visa we will also send a letter for the visa office to support your application.
Step 4
Applying for a visa . You apply for a student visitor or visitor visa immediately.
Step 5
You notify immediately of the result of your visa application as soon as you receive it.
CIEC is required to know which delegates have a visa and will be entering the UK.
Any delegate who is granted a visa but who subsequently does not attend CIEC will be reported to the UK Border Agency immediately. CIEC is also required to report to the UK Border Agency if you do not attend the full course.
Step 6
If your visa application is not successful CIEC are only able to refund your course fee (minus  administration fee) if we receive notification before 31st May.  Any subsequent notification will not result in fees being refunded.
If you choose to book and pay after 31st May  and require a visa to enter the UK you do so at your own risk as payment CANNOT be refunded if your visa is subsequently denied.  Please note that the Directors publish the CIEC booking process annually on the CIEC website to take account of changing requirements of the organisation and the UK Border Agency.
The Directors reserve the right to refuse to accept a booking from any individual or organisation and are not required to give a reason for this. This type of refusal could be linked to:
• evidence of a non reputable organisation;
• an individual or organisation who has not settled an invoice in the past; or
• any other reason.
Visa information
Delegates should consult the UK Border Agency website for up to date information on visa.
